The Western New York Environmental Alliance (the Alliance) is an umbrella group that is committed to the preservation and restoration of our regional environment. The work of the Alliance takes place in Working Groups and Process Groups.
To get involved with advocacy actions for the Alliance, read on to learn more, join the Process Group listserv, and come to a meeting.
Although, the Alliance is an organization composed of member-groups who individually, or in combination with others, are free and encouraged to pursue advocacy around their core areas, the Issues & Advocacy Process Group supports the Alliance Working Groups in developing actions to mobilize the public and policymakers.
Here are important documents to refer to for this Process Group:
- ADVOCACY POLICY: Advocacy by WNY Environmental Alliance
- FLOW CHART: Advocacy and the WNY Environmental Alliance
- FORM (ANNUAL ACTION AGENDA): Action Agenda Proposal Form
- FORM (URGENT REQUESTS): Advocacy & Issues Process Group Form
In 2013, all Issues & Advocacy meetings will be hosted at 4 PM on the fourth Thursday of each month at the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo at Larkin Exchange, 726 Exchange St., Suite 525 in Buffalo. Check the GrowWNY calendar to find all WNYEA Process Group Meetings.
