Join the UB Urban Design Project & Regional Institute for a morning of presentation and discussion on April 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Saturn Club.

Andrew Bowerbank, President of Bowerbank & Associates topic is "Regional Economic Development and Sustainability: Canadain Best Practices."

Mr. Bowerbank is a respected authority on green buildings, smart-grid technology, industrial design, and low carbon economics. He is currently acting as special advisor to global industry leaders including Magna Closures, Enbridge Gas, DCL Equity Partners and is a board member of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities.

BREAKOUT SESSIONS TO FOLLOW:
 
Participants will be asked to generate ideas and action steps for moving the region ahead in these important areas:
- Renewable Energy
- Smart Growth
- Water/Great Lakes Stewardship
- Public Private Partnerships
