Tifft Nature Preserve

Nature’s where it’s at for summertime fun!  Games, crafts, hikes and more help to foster the nature explorer in your child.  Healthy and kid-friendly snacks provided too!  Ages 3-5.  Non-Members: $8 per session per child and adult, $4 additional children with the same adult.  Buffalo Museum of Science Members Save 10%.  Pre-registration required.

Drop in and join Friends of Tifft for a guided tour of the preserve. A $2 donation per person suggested.

Join Tifft volunteers for a leisurely outdoor nature walk.  This drop-in program runs all year. A $2 donation per person suggested.

Stay outside late and join us as we celebrate the longest day of the year with a stroll that will end with a memorable sunset over Lake Erie!  Non-Members: $5. Buffalo Museum of Science Members Save 10 percent.  Pre-registration required.

Tifft has an interesting history and plays a major role in Buffalo’s past.  Spend an afternoon learning how the layout of the preserve has been affected over the years and find some “secret” spots where you can still see remnants of its history.  Marvel at nature’s ability to reclaim the land and use old maps and photos to imagine the original layout of the preserve.  Cost is $3 per person; $10 maximum per family. Free for FOT Members.
