Tifft Nature Preserve

Join us after school to have fun exploring while learning about the wonders of the natural world at Tifft Nature Preserve! Since this program will be held mostly outdoors, please dress appropriately for the weather.  Non-Members: $6 per child and adult, $4 each additional child with same adult.  Buffalo Museum of Science Members Save 10%.  Pre-registration required.

Drop in and join Friends of Tifft for a guided tour of the preserve. A $2 donation per person suggested.

Targeted for children ages 3-6, PLT’s Environmental Experiences for Early Childhood encourages children to explore, discover, and communicate in expressive ways, and provides an introduction to environmental education at a key developmental period in children’s lives.  A certificate of completion will be provided for those individuals interested in obtaining professional development credit from their district.  All workshops are FREE to educators and include the curriculum guide.

Growing Up WILD is an early childhood education program, targeted for children ages 3-7, that builds on children’s sense of wonder about nature and invites them to explore wildlife and the world around them.  A certificate of completion will be provided for those individuals interested in obtaining professional development credit from their district. All workshops are FREE to educators and include the curriculum guide.
