Event Details
Come to the screening of the documentary film "Fading in the Mist" written and produced by award winning local filmmakers, Bob Borgatti and Paul LaMont. This film explores the historical treatment of Niagara and some of the economic and environmental impacts our past decisions have created... with great historical documentation and stunning photography! At the conclusion of the film, the filmmaker(s) will discuss the production of this important film.
We invite and encourage you and members of the larger community to attend the screening. We hope to raise community awareness about the complex issues regarding the future of the Robert Moses Gorge Parkway and the ongoing New York State Parks scoping meetings, and the impact our decision will have on the future of the Niagara Region for many years to come.
The final meeting scheduled by State Parks will be held at the Niagara Falls Public Library at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, November 30, 2010. This will be the only opportunity for members of the community to voice thoughts, ideas, and concerns.
I am asking for your assistance by encouraging you, your family, friends, neighbors, and members of your organization to attend the screening.
