"Truthland" will be screened at 7 p.m. at the Birchfield Penny Art Center on the Buffalo State College campus on July 26.  Following the screening there will be a panel discussion where industry experts will answer questions about the process.  Both the screening and the panel discussion are free.  “Truthland” is a project of the Independent Petroleum Association of America and Energy In Depth.

The 34-minute movie is Shelly Depue’s compilation of interviews as she sought more information after seeing the HBO documentary, “Gasland,” which depicts natural gas drilling as unsafe, dirty and disruptive.

Panelists include Depue, John Conrad, Conrad Geosciences; John Holko, Lenape Resources; Dennis Holbrook, Norse Energy; Scott Cline, Ph.D, Petroleum Engineering.
