Event Details

Explore the benefits of allowing your property to be beautiful while protecting nearby waters.  Assistance in choosing proper materials to improve visual surroundings & water quality.  Incentives for using native plants, shrubs and trees will be explained as a critical part of low impact development.  Rain gardens and shoreline buffer strips will be addressed.  Tour an example of healthy landscaping in the nature park & rain garden

Dean W. Gowen is a registered landscape architect from Buffalo, and former Director of Park Design & Restoration for the Buffalo Olmstead Park Conservancy.
