Event Details

Join the Urban Land Institute's (ULI) Young Leaders Group of Western New York  for an afternoon of exploring the 'ins and outs' of the Commercial Historic Tax Credit program.  The incentive program, which encourages private sector investment in the rehabilitation and re-use of historic buildings, is considered to be one of the nation's most successful and cost-effective community revitalization programs.

Come learn first-hand how the Artspace Buffalo Lofts project utilized this essential program from the experts that made this project a reality.  The afternoon will be spent on-site hearing from Jason Yots of Preservation Studios and Gerald Strickland, Jr. of HHL Architects, and will include a guided tour.

The Whole Hog Food Truck will also be on-site from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. serving up delicious BBQ.  Please note, food is NOT covered in the cost of admission.

Event registration and tours begin at 11:30 a.m. with the presentation from 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.  Price is $5 dollars for ULI members, $10 for non-ULI members.  Space is limited. Please register in advance as there will be no on-site registration. Register here.
