The Westfield Farmers Market is open through the summer months every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., locals and vacationers alike stroll through historic Moore Park perusing and selecting locally grown fruits and vegetables such as strawberries, tomatoes, peppers, squash, beans, apples, peaches, and so much more.
The market takes every opportunity to make sure all folks in our region are able to take advantage of our local fresh produce by participating in FMNP, WIC and the EBT programs. Other eye-catching tables include Amish woven baskets, woodcraft, hand-made soaps, jams, jellies and other canned items.
Local wineries are also showcased each week, owners talking with patrons about the production of their wine and offering samples and plenty of varieties for purchase. Many visitors choose to continue their day lunching in the park, enjoying the live music, then moving on into Westfield to explore local antiques, shops and restaurants.
The market also hosts monthly events and several artisan demonstrations throughout the season. Chicken BBQs, a Cruise-In, Antique Farm Equipment Show and a Fall Festival are a sampling of additional events highlighting some of the things we do best in our region. Artisans, including a local wood turner, painters, photographers and jewelers, will demonstrate and sell their craft at the market throughout the summer. Not only do visitors have an opportunity to see how the beautiful artwork is created, they may have a chance to take it home!
