This meeting of the WNYEA Urban Regenerationl Working Group will feature a presentation by Kelly Dixon (of Greater Buffalo Niagara Regional Transportation Council) and Bart Roberts (of University at Buffalo Regional Institute) on the Buffalo-Niagara federal Sustainable Communities grant from HUD/ DOT/ EPA.

The HUD/ DOT/ EPA Sustainable Communities Grant will help set a direction for the region in Land Use/ Economic Development, Transportation, Housing, Food Access and Climate Change for the next 20 years.  This will be a critical document that will give the region priority status within federal grant programs, and our presenters will be looking for input on how this effort intersects and interacts with other existing initiatives.
