The GO Bike Buffalo Community Workshop is a place where volunteers and members can go and learn to repair and maintain their bicycles. They have complete refurbished bicycles for sale, along with a stock of used parts available to everyone. The shop also serves as a place to donate your used and / or unwanted bicycles. They are happy to provide you with a tax reciept for your donation.
Come join the guides and instructors of Paths, Peaks and Paddles for a paddle. Whether this is your first time in a kayak or an "old has been paddler" its a time to enjoy the water, meet some new people and relax for an evening. We meet at the store (1000 Ellicott Creek Rd. Tonawanda) at 6 p.m. and take a paddling trip on Ellicott Creek up and around the big island.
All are welcome, if you have your own boat (canoe or kayak), there is no charge. Visit here for rules. If you need to rent a boat, the cost for a solo boat is only $25 per boat or $30 for a tandem. The boat rental includes paddle(s) and PFD(s).
Turn your love for the outdoors into rewarding action. Assist with stewardship projects to help maintain and improve ecosystems and trails throughout the preserve. A variety of projects ensures there is something for almost every age and ability. Refreshments provided.
